Chicken is poultry — not a mammal — and naturally contains no alpha-gal, the sugar molecule found in red meat that triggers reactions in people with Alpha-Gal Syndrome (AGS). The CDC confirms that individuals managing AGS can generally eat chicken and other poultry. These sausages are made from pure pasture-raised chicken — no pork casings, no beef broths, no mammalian fats or additives of any kind. Packed in chubs, not traditional casings.

    Questions people ask

    Is any of this made with pork or beef?
    No. All three are pure pasture-raised chicken, packed in chubs rather than casings — so there are no pork casings, no beef broth and no mammalian fat anywhere in it.
    Is there cheese in the smoky jalapeño?
    No. Our Jalapeño & Cheddar Chicken Sausage is a different product and is not in this bundle.
    How hot is the smoky jalapeño?
    Warm, not punishing — the heat builds slowly. The Sweet Italian and Maple Breakfast have no heat at all.
    Are these links or bulk?
    Bulk, in 1–1½ lb chubs. Crumble it, or press it into patties — it holds together well either way.
    Are they fully cooked?
    No — all three are fresh. Cook to 165°F internal for poultry.
    How long do they keep?
    Frozen, several months with no real loss. Once thawed in the refrigerator, cook within a couple of days.
    Can I swap something out?
    Not at the bundle price, but every sausage in it is sold individually in the store — including our Hot Breakfast Chicken Sausage.
